James le Roux

James le Roux describes his music as dance floor electronica, somewhere between dark melodic techno and deep house. A former jazz guitarist in a university big band, raised on the Beatles, Nirvana and Led Zeppelin, he cites Boards of Canada, Dominik Eulberg and Pantha du Prince as influences. Based between London and Berlin, he released his first album Going Alone on Igloo-Rec, and played live at Kater Blau in Berlin and alongside Rex The Dog in London.
